For Tuesday September 29, TheStreet focuses on one giant retailer. Costo Wholesale (COST) is scheduled to release its latest earnings before the opening bell. Overall, analysts expect the warehouse operator to post a year-over-year growth in both earnings and revenue. For the fourth quarter, analysts are calling for $1.66 a share on revenue of $36.33 billion. There are some key economic reports coming out on Tuesday. The Redbook comes out at 8:55 a.m. Eastern, which measures comparable store sales at chain stores, discounters, and department stores. Then, the S&P Case-Shiller home price index is due out at 9 a.m. Economists are expecting home prices for the month of August to go up by 0.1%. Finally, the consumer confidence report is set to come out at 10 a.m. Economists are expecting the consumer confidence level to decline from 101.5 in August to 96 for the month of September.
