What to Watch Tuesday: Fogo de Chao Reports Its First Earnings

For Tuesday August 11, TheStreet highlights key earnings and economic data. Earnings season is slowly trailing off but it’s not over yet. Tuesday is an eventful day as a number of companies are reporting their latest quarterly earnings results after the market close. Watch maker Fossil Group (FOSL), Brazilian steakhouse Fogo de Chao (FOGO), and pet food maker Freshpet (FRPT), are all scheduled to release their latest earnings results. Out of all the companies, investors will see if Fogo de Chao will satisfy their hunger. For the latest quarter, the company is expected to post earnings of $0.22 a share on revenue of $65.26 million. In late June, the restaurant chain priced its initial public offering of more than 4 million shares at $20 a share. Currently, it operates 26 restaurants in the U.S., 10 in Brazil, and one in Mexico. Looking ahead, CEO Larry Johnson said that the company will continue to grow and expand. On the economic calendar, the productivity and reports is set to come out at 8:30 a.m. Then, we're expecting the Redbook in the morning as well, which is a weekly indicator of chain-store sales.
